About Us

ARÖ is a heritage luxury accessories brand  presenting bags and accessories woven by hand, built to carry the craft of Northeast India into everyday life.

What we make

Every piece begins on a loom. We work primarily with Eri silk, Chakma motiffs , Mizo and Naga-stripe weaves textiles with centuries of history behind them, each with a distinct texture, sheen, and story. A single piece can take up to 15-25 days to weave, thread by thread, entirely by hand.

Where the weaving happens

Our weaves come from Assam, Mizoram, and Nagaland  for now. These are places where this craft has been passed down for generations, long before it had a name like "heritage luxury." We work directly with the weavers in these regions, not through layers of middlemen, so the relationship and the credit stays where it belongs.

Why ARÖ

Because handwoven shouldn't mean hard to find, and heritage shouldn't mean old-fashioned. ARÖ exists to give this craft a place in modern luxury without diluting it, mass-producing it, or asking weavers to work faster than their craft allows.

We don't restock. Every piece is made in limited numbers, true to how it's actually made by hand, not by machine. When it's gone, it's gone, because that's the honest cost of something woven, not manufactured.

This is ARÖ: heritage you can carry, made by the hands that have always made it.
